Name Short term pollution
Definition Short term pollution table contains one or more events of short term pollution that occur during the bathing season. Short term pollution means microbiological contamination that has clearly identifiable causes, is not normally expected to affect bathing water quality for more than approximately 72 hours after the bathing water quality is first affected and for which the competent authority has established procedures to predict and deal with.
Methodology for obtaining data Every country should deliver data table through Reportnet in xls or xml data file after the end of the short term pollution. The attributes are reported for a bathing water or a group of bathing waters.
